Broome County Parks 5K Series
The Broome County Parks 5K Series is a sequence of four 5K events held on Thursdays from July 9 through August 20, 2026 in Binghamton, New York. This is the 5th annual edition and the series visits Greenwood Park, Dorchester Park, Nathaniel Cole Park, and Otsiningo Park. The listed event location is 60 Hawley Street, Binghamton, NY 13901.
Registration is available as a series entry that includes a t-shirt and a medal when registered for all four races, or as individual race entries. The published fee for all four races includes a registration charge and a processing fee; individual race registration is also available onsite for cash only. Individual t-shirts may be purchased separately. There are no refunds for the series.
Packet pickup is available at each race location on race day and is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm and end at 6:30 pm; series participants may pick up their packet at the first race or at any subsequent race day. Event emails with series information and course maps are sent to series registrants before the series and to individual registrants the week of their race.
Course details note that Otsiningo Park and Dorchester Park are on paved surfaces while Greenwood Park and Nathaniel Cole Park use dirt trails. Courses are not certified except for Otsiningo Park. There are no mile markers and no timing chips; timing results are posted at the Broome County parks 5K results page. A portion of proceeds benefits CHOW Broome County Council of Churches.
