Broomall Rotary Firecracker 5K
The Broomall Rotary Firecracker 5K is a five kilometer running event held in Broomall, Pennsylvania on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The race precedes the Marple-Newtown 4th of July Parade. Proceeds fund the Broomall Rotary's local charitable service projects. The Broomall Rotary has been performing community service since 1961.
Registration opens March 5, 2026 and closes June 21, 2026. The registration fee is $25. Packet pickup is available at the Running Place in Newtown Square on Thursday, July 2 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and Friday, July 3 from 4 PM to 6 PM, and on race day from 8 AM to 9 AM at the race tent on the Broomall Fire Company driveway apron.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall and to the top three male and female finishers in each of these age groups: 14 and under; 15 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; and 70 and over. A top team award is also included.
