Broomall Rotary Firecracker 5K Run
The Broomall Rotary Firecracker 5K is a five kilometer running event in Broomall, Pennsylvania, held on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The race takes place ahead of the Marple-Newtown 4th of July Parade and is organized by the Broomall Rotary, a community service group active since 1961.
Proceeds from the 2026 event will support Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. The event offers a single 5K distance and awards prizes for the top finishers. Prizes include top three male and female overall placings, top three male and female in age groups 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus, and a top team award.
Packet pickup is available at the Running Place in Newtown Square on Thursday, July 2 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Friday, July 3 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Race day packet pickup is at the race tent on the Broomall Fire Company driveway apron from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
