Brooksvale Trails Turkey Trot - November 22, 2026
The Fifth Annual Brooksvale Trails Turkey Trot takes place in Hamden, CT at 524 Brooksvale Avenue. The event is presented by Live Loud Running and the Town of Hamden and serves as a food drive for the Hamden Food Bank. It also supports the Brooksvale Park Gift Fund, a designated fund used only for Brooksvale Park to maintain trails and provide public educational opportunities.

The courses run on park trails that vary in character. Sections can be flat and fast or leafy, rooty, and rocky, and participants may encounter standing water. Organizers note generous cutoffs that allow participants to hike sections of the course if needed.
Registered participants who sign up by November 8 receive a screen printed tri-blend Bella+Canvas shirt. Handmade awards from Ragged Cuts are planned, and additional items are expected in the race swag. Post-event refreshments include bagels, coffee and maple bacon donuts from local bakery Whitney Donuts.
