Brooks South XC Championships
The Brooks South XC Championships take place Saturday, November 28, 2026, in Charlotte, North Carolina, at 8711 Monroe Rd. The event comprises multiple cross country races for high school and youth competitors, including open and championship fields.
Races are held over two standard distances:
- 5K races for open, high school, and youth categories
- 3K races for younger youth categories
Several championship races are restricted by grade; youth races are organized by age groups, including categories for ages 13-14, 11-12, and 10 and under. The top 10 boys and top 10 girls in the Championship Race will earn qualification to the Brooks XC National Championships in San Diego at Balboa Park.
Registration opens June 6, 2026 and closes June 21, 2026. The standard registration fee listed for each race is $45. The organizer offers a group/team discount of $40 per registration for groups of 10 or more; these group registrations must be prepaid by one person and comp codes will be provided for individual entrants, and the discount must be arranged before registering.
