Brookhaven International Festival 5K Walk/Run
The Brookhaven International Festival 5K Walk/Run takes place on October 18, 2026 at the Peachtree Creek Greenway Briarwood Road Trailhead, 1793 Briarwood Road Northeast, Brookhaven, GA 30329. The event celebrates the communities of the Buford Highway Cultural Corridor and is a Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race qualifying race.
This is the third annual running of the 5K. The course is professionally timed and USATF certified, and follows the North Fork of Peachtree Creek using the Peachtree Creek Greenway model mile and nearby parking areas to create an off road, back to nature, family friendly route. Walkers, strollers, elders and children are expressly welcome alongside competitive runners.
One hundred percent of registration fees and donations go directly to the race partner We Love Buford Highway, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that works to preserve the corridor's multicultural identity. Registration for fundraising events is non refundable and the event is held rain or shine.
Packet pick up is available the Friday before the event at the Public Safety Building, 1793 Briarwood Rd NE, with additional in person packet pick up on race day offered first come, first served. Awards are presented to overall men and women and to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in the following age groups: 13 and under; 14 to 21; 22 to 35; 36 to 45; 46 to 55; 56 to 65; 66 and over.
