Brita Night Run overview
The Brita Night Run is a series of evening 5K and 10K events held in multiple Canadian cities. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation and is presented as a night-time run with reflective gear and lighting provided in the race kit. All participants receive an official Brita Night Run tee, a finisher medal, a beer ticket, a headlamp, and other reflective running gear. The LED headlight supplied in the race kit must be worn on the head and turned on for the duration of the race.
Entry rules, transfers and refunds
Participants must be of legal drinking age in the province where they race. The FAQ lists ages by city: Vancouver 19, Edmonton 18, Toronto 19, Calgary 18. Bib and distance transfers are allowed for a fee of $12 plus tax and fees and can be processed online up to three days before an event or in-person at race kit pickup. Refunds are available only for registrants who purchased Race Roster’s Enhanced Refund Protection Program and must follow the program’s claim process and timing rules.
Safety and limits
Headphones are not permitted. Dogs, strollers, bicycles, rollerblades, and scooters are not allowed on the course. Time limits are 60 minutes for the 5K and 90 minutes for the 10K. Registration caps are listed per city: Toronto 3,650; Calgary 875; Edmonton 1,600; Vancouver 1,700. Race kits are picked up in-store at the local Running Room selected at registration.
