Mum-A-Thon Road Race : 57th Annual
The Mum-A-Thon Road Race is a Halloween themed running and walking event organized by The Bristol Rotary Club on Sunday, October 18, 2026. The event uses new courses and includes several race distances that run through the northeast section of Bristol, with a climb near mile 1, rolling terrain, and a downhill finish on the 8K and 8 mile courses. The run is conducted facing traffic.

All events begin and end at St. Paul Catholic High School, 1001 Stafford Ave, Bristol CT. Participants are asked to use the Maltby Street entrance. There is ample parking on the school grounds at no charge; posted signs should be obeyed.
Entry fees are listed for each event: $32.80 for the 5K, $38.10 for the 8K, $43.40 for the 8 mile, and $16.90 for the Monster Mile. The 8 mile offers cash prizes for overall top three men and women and mummy themed hand cut and hand painted glow in the dark mummy awards for top finishers. The 5K uses standard 10 year age group awards including 12 and under through 70 and over. There is a wheelchair start for the 8K and 8 mile events. No deferrals, refunds, or transfers; the event is held rain or shine.
A portion of the race proceeds is designated for charity and the remainder funds mini-grants awarded to organizations that support local youth. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
