Brimfield Old Settlers Days 5K - August 15, 2026
Brimfield Old Settlers Days presents a group of untimed and timed events held in downtown Brimfield, Illinois, with proceeds benefiting people in need in the Brimfield area. The event is based at 121 W Knoxville St near the American Legion.
Event distances and formats include:
- 5K run
- 1 Mile walk (untimed)
- Kids 1/4 mile fun run for ages 12 and under, untimed
The 5K and 1 Mile courses start and finish on U.S. Route 150 in downtown Brimfield near the American Legion. Both courses are described as paved, flat, and accurate. Packet pickup is held at the American Legion Hall on the days before the event and bib pickup is available in front of the American Legion Hall on race day. Timing and scoring are provided by ShaZam Racing.
Registration options include a standard run/walk entry, a supporter entry, and a free kids fun run. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed through July 25; later registrations may not include a guaranteed shirt. The kids fun run does not include a shirt, but a shirt can be purchased during registration through July 26.
Awards are given for overall finishers and age groups. Overall awards recognize the top two male and top two female finishers by gun time. Age group awards recognize the top three male and top three female finishers by net time in the following brackets: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & Over.
