About the race
Brimfield Old Settlers Days 5K takes place on August 15, 2026, in downtown Brimfield, Illinois at 121 W Knoxville St. Proceeds benefit people in need in the Brimfield area. The event offers multiple distances and formats: - 5K run - 1 Mile walk (untimed) - Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run (untimed, ages 12 and under; does not include shirt; shirts available to purchase during registration until July 26) The 5K and 1 Mile courses start and finish on U.S. Route 150 near the American Legion.
The course is paved and described as flat and accurate. Packet pickup is held at the American Legion Hall on the two days before race day, with bib pickup in front of the American Legion Hall on race morning. Timing and scoring are provided by ShaZam Racing, and overall and age-group awards are based on gun time. Overall awards are given to the top two males and top two females; age-group awards go to the top three males and top three females in standard age brackets.
