Brimfield Old Settlers Days 5K
The event on August 15, 2026 takes place in downtown Brimfield, Illinois at 121 W Knoxville St near the American Legion. Proceeds benefit people in need in the Brimfield area. Timing and scoring are provided by ShaZam Racing.
The program includes a 5K run/walk, a 1 mile untimed walk, and a Kids 1/4 mile fun run for ages 12 and under. Registration fees apply for most options; the Kids fun run is free and does not include a shirt. Early registrants have a guaranteed shirt option.
Courses start and finish on U.S. Route 150 in downtown Brimfield near the American Legion. The course surfaces are paved and described as flat and accurate. Packet pickup is available at the American Legion Hall on the days before the event and bib pickup is available in front of the American Legion Hall on event day.
Awards are given by gender for overall finishers and by age group for net times. Overall awards recognize the top two males and top two females by gun time. Age group awards for net time are given to the top three males and top three females in the following groups: 10 and under, 11 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69, and 70 and over.
