About the race
The Brightlingsea Jog Walk Run is a charitable four-mile event held in Brightlingsea, Essex, supporting the Essex Air Ambulance. The course begins at the historic All Saints Church and winds through scenic countryside, country lanes, footpaths, and the seawall, passing landmarks like Bateman's Tower before finishing at the Mirror Millennium Gardens on Promenade Way. The mostly flat route includes gentle inclines and steps, is suitable for sturdy pushchairs, and welcomes dogs on leads, including Canicross participants.
