Clacton Half Marathon & 10k
The event takes place on the seafront opposite Fourth Avenue in Clacton on Sea, Essex (CO15 5BL). It is organized by Clacton Carnival and uses both the top and bottom promenades for its running routes. The surface is tarmac and the course is described as mostly flat with two small hills.

The 10k is one lap and the half marathon is two laps of the route. The race is measured and presented with a family-friendly atmosphere. Marshals provide on-course support.
Included for entrants are a bespoke medal, free parking, trophies and prizes for leading runners, free photographs, and free post-race massages provided by Clacton Osteopathy and Physiotherapy Clinic. Listed advance entry prices show the half marathon at £33, the 10k at £28, and the junior run at £7.
Race headquarters are on the seafront opposite Fourth Avenue. There is car parking close to the headquarters and on surrounding streets. The nearest railway station is Clacton on Sea, located roughly one mile from the race headquarters. Event information is sent to registered entrants prior to race day.
