Clacton Half Marathon & 10k
The Clacton Half Marathon & 10k is scheduled for 16 August 2026 and is organised by Clacton Carnival. The event takes place on the seafront opposite Fourth Avenue, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, CO15 5BL. Both races are run largely along the top and bottom promenades on tarmac. The course is mostly flat with two short hills. Route format: the 10k is one lap and the half marathon is two laps. A junior fun run is also offered.

Advance entry prices listed range from £7 to £33. On-the-day entry fees are noted separately and may differ. Included for entrants are a bespoke medal, free parking, trophies and prizes for leading runners, free photographs, and free post-race massages. Race headquarters and the start/finish area are on the promenade immediately outside the HQ; there is car parking nearby and on surrounding streets. The closest railway station is Clacton-on-Sea, approximately one mile from the race headquarters. Age limits: the half marathon is open to entrants aged 17 and over on the event date; the 10k is open to entrants aged 15 and over.
