Clacton Half Marathon & 10k is a seafront running event based at Race HQ on the seafront opposite Fourth Avenue, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, CO15 5BL. The event includes a Half Marathon, 10k, and a Junior Fun Run. The course is on tarmac and is mostly flat with two short hills. The 10k is one lap and the half marathon is two laps of the course. The closest railway station is Clacton-on-Sea, roughly a mile from Race HQ. There is car parking available close to the HQ and on surrounding streets.
Course, services and fees
The route runs along both the top and bottom promenades of the seafront. Included for entrants are a bespoke medal, free parking, free photographs, trophies and prizes for leading runners, and free post-race massages provided by a local clinic. On-the-day entry fees, where available, are listed as:
- Half Marathon - £40
- 10k - £35
- Junior Run - £7
