Clacton Half Marathon and 10k
The Clacton Half Marathon and 10k is a coastal running event held in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex. The accurately measured course takes place entirely on tarmac, utilizing both the top and bottom promenades along the seafront.
Participants can choose from several distances including:

- 10k (one lap)
- Junior Fun Run
The terrain is primarily flat, though the route includes two hills. The event is staged at the seafront opposite Fourth Avenue, which serves as the race headquarters and the location for the start and finish lines. The course is lined with spectators, including holidaymakers and day trippers.
Participants receive a bespoke medal upon completion, and leading runners are eligible for trophies and prizes. The entry includes free professional photographs and post-race massages provided by a local osteopathy and physiotherapy clinic.
The race headquarters is located approximately one mile from the Clacton-on-Sea railway station. For those arriving by car, free parking is available near the headquarters and on the surrounding streets. Race information is distributed to all registered participants before the event day.
