Bright Fun Run
The Bright Fun Run takes place in Bright in North East Victoria on Sunday 26 April 2026. It is a community fundraiser for Bright P-12 College; funds raised in 2026 are designated for wellbeing and mental health programs for students. In 2025 the event raised over $25,000 for the school.
The event features multiple trail courses and an event village located on the top basketball court at Bright P-12 College, Bakers Gully Rd and Park St, Bright VIC 3741. Coffee and breakfast are available in the village, and a map of suggested parking areas is provided for participants.
The available distances are:
- 3 km short course for kids and beginners
- 9 km trail course
- 18 km longer trail course
Mandatory safety gear is required for the 9 km and 18 km courses. Requirements include a liquid storage capacity of 500 mL for the 9 km and 1 L for the 18 km, a fully charged smartphone and a snake bite bandage for both distances. A waterproof jacket is required for the 18 km and a space blanket is recommended for that distance. Early bib collection is available at the top basketball court at Bright P-12 College.
