Event Overview
The Brigantine Beach Triathlon is an annual multisport event organized by the City of Brigantine and Green Whales, Inc. The competition brings together participants for a course that spans the bay and the island roads. The race is capped at 600 registrants and supports several local community organizations and emergency services.
Course Details
The event begins at the 26th Street S. City Dock area. Participants start with a 1/4 mile swim in the bay. This is followed by an 11 mile bike ride that circles the Island of Brigantine. The final leg is a 4 mile run that heads toward the north end of the island and returns to finish at the 26th Street S. Recreation Complex.

The transition area for switching between disciplines is located at the 26th Street S. City Dock. After the conclusion of the sporting events, a gathering is held at the 26th Street Recreation Complex featuring lunch, music from a DJ, and an awards ceremony.
