Bridge Day 5K Run

The Bridge Day 5K Run takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The event offers a single 5 km running distance. The course starts on the north side of the New River Gorge Bridge, crosses the bridge, and finishes on Court Street in the town of Fayetteville, West Virginia.

This is a run-only event; walking is not allowed due to road closures for the Official Bridge Day festival. Participants must be at least 8 years old. The race has a registration cap of 500 participants. All finishers receive a medal, with additional awards for top finishers in various age categories.
