Bridge Burner Ultra : Cañon City, Colorado
Bridge Burner Ultra is a set of late season trail events centered in Cañon City, Colorado, featuring single-loop and shorter course options that pass through Royal Gorge Mountain Park and along the Arkansas River. The primary route follows Tunnel Drive tunnels, climbs to a high point of 7,109 feet with views of the Royal Gorge, the Sangre de Cristo range, and Pikes Peak, then descends through Temple Canyon and crosses the highest bridge in the United States.

- 35 Mile - about 35.5 miles, ~4,400 ft elevation
- 50K - about 30.9 miles, ~4,200 ft elevation
- 35K - about 21.9 miles, ~2,800 ft elevation
- 10K - about 7.0 miles, ~575 ft elevation
Aid stations are well stocked with Tailwind, Muir Energy gels, snacks, fruit, soda and warm food options including bacon, quesadillas and potatoes. Crew access is allowed only at crew accessible aid stations; pacing is prohibited. All aid stations are reachable by 2WD vehicles and some allow drop bags.
Event logistics include packet pickup at Centennial Park, registration that closes before the race, post‑race meals, a gender specific race shirt and a BOCO trucker hat for most distances.
