Bridge 2 Bridge Half Marathon & 5K

The event takes place over two days in Ashtabula, Ohio on October 24 and 25, 2026. Races start near the Harbor-Topky Memorial Library at 1633 Walnut Blvd and finish on Bridge Street in Ashtabula Harbor. Parking is available at Walnut Beach and West 1st Street.

Registration fees are listed per event: the 5K fee is $30 and the half marathon fee is $50. ADR Club members receive a $5 discount on each race and an additional $5 discount when registering for both races. Non-club registrants receive a $5 discount when signing up for both races. Long sleeve tech shirts are offered; 150 shirts are available and a guaranteed size is available for registrations completed by October 15.

The half marathon uses chip timing for overall and age group results. Awards include finishers awards and age group awards for the half marathon, and overall and age group awards for the 5K. Cash prizes for half marathon overall finishers are $150, $100, and $50 for first through third place for male and female divisions. Additional prize money is available if a male or female event record is set; current records are 1:12:33 (male, 2021) and 1:26:54 (female, 2020).

Course notes: the half marathon course includes a railroad crossing and a lift bridge where rail and boat traffic have right of way and no set schedule is guaranteed. Official race time does not stop for delays. The half marathon has a 3 hour 30 minute course time limit. There are five water stop opportunities on the half course at locations including Columbus Avenue, Main Avenue, and near the Smolen-Gulf Covered Bridge; there are no water stops on the 5K. Service animals are permitted and dogs are not allowed. Packet pickup is handled at the Harbor-Topky Library on the respective race days.
