Debonne Wine Run 5k
The Debonne Wine Run 5k takes place on June 6, 2026 in Madison, Ohio at Debonne Vineyards (7840 Doty Rd). The event is a chip-timed 5k run/walk scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online. The race runs rain or shine; the director may delay the start in severe weather.
Race details and logistics
Registration includes a ring-spun cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine (minors do not receive a wine glass or wine pour). The base price listed is $25 and the price increases after March 13, 2026. A virtual participation option is available and packets can be shipped for an additional fee. Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event. Free race photos will be available for download.
Course, rules and awards
The course runs through the vineyards and is mostly grass with some uneven areas and several turns. Strollers are allowed but not recommended due to uneven ground. Dogs must be on a leash and are not permitted on the course. Minors are welcome and have a discounted registration. The event offers age-group awards for the top three finishers in each category; categories use 10-year bands (1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & over).
