Debonne Wine Run 5k
The Debonne Wine Run 5k takes place on June 6, 2026 at Debonne Vineyards, 7840 Doty Rd, Madison, OH 44057. The event is part of the Ohio Wine Run Series and offers a single 5k distance on a course that runs through vineyard grounds.
Registration includes a Super Soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, online results, and a pour of wine for eligible participants. Free race photos are available for download after the event.
The course is mostly grass with some uneven areas and several turns and is described as a scenic tour of the vineyards rather than a course aimed at personal best times. The race is professionally timed and scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online at J3 Timing.
Virtual participation is available. Options include picking up an event packet and running independently or transferring to the Virtual Wine Run with packet shipment for an additional shipping and handling charge. Packet pickup is race day only.
Age group awards are presented to the top three finishers in each age category. Categories use ten year increments (for example 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, up to 80 and over) and awards are available only on the day of the event. Minors may participate with a discounted registration; minors do not receive a wine glass or a wine pour. Strollers are allowed but not recommended because of uneven ground. Dogs are not permitted on site. The event lists NEO Hero's Memorial as its local charity partner, focusing on organ donation awareness in support of Lifebac.
