Stasny Road Racing 5K Prediction Race
The event stages a 5K prediction race on April 26, 2026, at the Western Reserve Greenway Trail - Lampson Road Trailhead (2591 Lampson Rd, Austinburg, OH 44010). Participants submit an estimated finishing time during registration; that estimate is their official prediction and is used for scoring.
Scoring uses chip timing through Chronotrack Systems. Official times are recorded to the full second; tenths of a second are not used for scoring. During registration the predicted time must be entered in H:MM:SS format and all differences between predicted and official whole-second times are calculated to rank results. Results displayed on third-party services or on-site TVs are not official. Tie-breakers are resolved by the higher overall finishing position.
Certain devices and aids are prohibited and may lead to disqualification: watches, GPS, stopwatches, phones, music or headphones/earbuds, measuring wheels, sundials, or similar timing aids. If a participant is disqualified for using a timing aid, no award or refund is given.
Awards are presented to the five runners whose actual times are closest to their official predicted times. Registration is available online only, with paperless day-of registration offered.
