Event Overview
The Father's Day Dash takes place on June 21, 2026 in Jefferson, Ohio. It features a 5K run, a 1 Mile Walk (not timed), and a free Kid's 1/4 Mile Dash.
Course Details
The 5K is a flat loop around the Village of Jefferson, starting and finishing at the Jefferson Community Playground/Park at the corner of East Jefferson and North Market Streets. The park has restrooms available. The course passes through the community's scenic areas and past the Jefferson Historic Depot. The 1 Mile Walk follows a separate route to a fountain in the town center before finishing at the same location as the 5K.
Registration and Fees
Pre-registration is available until June 19, 2026.
- The 5K fee is $22.99 pre-registration ($30 on race day).
- The 1 Mile Walk fee is $19.99 pre-registration (price increases after June 19).
- The Kid's 1/4 Mile Dash is free for children aged 1 to 12.
Additional Information
The event is chip-timed by Stasny Road Racing. All proceeds benefit the Jefferson Rotary General Fund, supporting local programs and scholarships. The first 100 combined registrants for the 5K and 1 Mile Walk will receive race swag. A free gift is also offered for Kids Dash participants while supplies last.
