Father's Day Dash 5K
This community event takes place on June 20, 2027 in Jefferson, Ohio, with the Jefferson Community Playground/Park at 104 East Jefferson St. serving as the start and finish location. Restroom facilities are available at the park.
Event offerings include:
- Father's Day Dash 5K (5 kilometers)
- Kid's 1/4 Mile Dash for children 12 and under (parent must be present and sign a waiver)
- 1 Mile Walk (not timed)
Registration opens in January 2027 and pre-registration closes on June 19, 2027. Fees listed by the organizer include a pre-registration rate of $22.99 for the 5K and a day of race fee of $30 for that race; the Kid's Dash is free and the 1 Mile Walk has a listed fee of $19.99. The first 100 registered 5K runners and 1 Mile walkers combined will receive race swag. Chip timing is provided by Stasny Road Racing.
Course details note a 5K flat loop around the Village of Jefferson with both start and finish at the community playground/park at the corner of East Jefferson and North Market Streets. Participants who present their race bib during the Covered Bridge Festival in October receive a voucher for a cup of ham and bean soup.
