Bridge 2 Bridge 5 Mile Run : High Falls, NY
The Bridge 2 Bridge Five Mile Run is scheduled for April 11, 2026, at Mohonk Preserve’s Spring Farm Trailhead in High Falls, New York. The course covers 5 miles, primarily on wide, lightly graveled historic carriage roads with a short section on trails, offering views of the Catskill Mountains from Spring Farm. The event is chip timed.
Proceeds benefit Mohonk Preserve and its mission to protect roughly 8,000 acres of the Shawangunk Mountains. The race is organized by Mohonk Preserve with support from the Shawangunk Runners and is held annually in early April. Awards are given to top overall finishers by gender and to the top three finishers in ten-year age groups; awards have included apple pies, annual memberships to Mohonk Preserve, and free entries to Shawangunk Runners events.
Registered participants receive a commemorative T-shirt, access to one water stop passed twice on course, complimentary refreshments and post race snacks provided by the Shawangunk Runners, a 20% off coupon from Rock and Snow in New Paltz, and complimentary entry to Lou’s Run (race #4) of the 53rd New Paltz Summer Series in July (date TBD). Active Mohonk Preserve members may use code SAVE5 for a registration discount. Non-members receive access to the Preserve’s trails for the day.
Race policies note that refunds are not offered due to the event’s fundraising nature; deferrals and transfers are not permitted. Parking is limited at the trailhead. Strollers and dogs are not allowed on course; dogs are permitted at the start/finish only and must be leashed. Spectators arriving with registered participants receive free entry to the Spring Farm Trailhead; non-member spectators arriving independently must show a valid Preserve membership or pay the day pass fee.
