Brewhouse Triathlon
The Brewhouse Triathlon is presented by Lakewalk Surgery Center and is held at the Minnesota Power Pavilion at Island Lake. The 2027 edition marks the event's 40th year and continues a long history of triathlon racing in the area.
The course begins with a lake swim described as pristine. The bike course follows newly paved roads. The run uses a mix of asphalt and gravel roads and includes multiple aid stations along the route.
Organizers state the event will follow USATriathlon and St. Louis County regulations to hold a safe race. This may result in modified procedures such as adjusted wave starts and increased spacing in the transition area.
Registration is open and in-person registration is available at packet pick-up (details are provided in the Athlete Letter). There is no race day registration. Event information, athlete communications, and past results are made available to competitors; the Athlete Letter is updated before the race and sent to entrants.
Several local sponsors are listed on event materials. The triathlon is part of a series of related regional swims and races held in the same period, all using natural lake venues and local road courses. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
