Event overview
The Brewhouse Triathlon p/b Lakewalk Surgery Center is scheduled for Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Island Lake Park Pavilion, 7204 Rice Lake Rd, Duluth, MN 55803. The event is USAT sanctioned and includes individual and relay formats, a USAT insurance option, and a test event. Online registration closes the Saturday night before the race; in-person packet pick-up registration is available. There is no day-of registration.
Race formats and distances
Distances offered include:
- Buzz Ryan Short Course: 500 m swim, 8 mile bike, 2.5 mile run (exhibition wave with a 200 m swim available)
- Brewhouse Long Course: 1500 m swim, 24.8 mile bike
Relay teams are allowed for both short and long courses. Relay entries are priced per team; teams may consist of two or three members. Each relay member must register individually and have a current USAT license.
Registration, fees and policies
Every participant, individual or relay member, must possess USAT insurance either as an annual license or a one-day policy. The one-day USAT option is available during registration. Entry fees may increase after specified dates. Shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations made up to three weeks before the event. There are no refunds; registration may be deferred if organizers are notified at least four weeks before the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
