Lefse Run : December 13, 2025
The Lefse Run is a free community fun run organized by Duluth Running Co. and First Lutheran Church in Duluth, MN on December 13, 2025. The route is a casual out-and-back on the Lakewalk to Canal Park and back, about 3-mile in length. A lefse aid station is available on the course and participants receive a piece of lefse after the run. A post-run lefse gathering is held at First Lutheran Church. Three-piece packs of lefse are available for purchase at the church after the event, with purchase limits to allow broad community access.
Registration, donations, volunteers, and charity
Registration is online only and opens Monday, November 24; it remains open until December 13. The event is free and donations to Safe Haven are encouraged through registration. Volunteer opportunities for lefse making begin November 5 and continue through December 11 at First Lutheran Church; volunteer tasks include ricing, mixing, rolling, and turning. Local grocer SuperOne Foods donated ingredients for lefse production.
