Oktoberfest Zinzinnati 14K/7K Brewery Run

The Oktoberfest Zinzinnati 14K/7K Brewery Run is part of the TQL Beer Series and serves as the opening running event for Oktoberfest Cincinnati, described as the largest Oktoberfest celebration outside of Munich. Both distances start and finish along Cincinnati’s riverfront near Mehring Way.

The course routes pass many historic brewery sites in Cincinnati and follow the roads once used by horse-drawn carts to move beer to riverboats. Detailed turn-by-turn directions and a course map are provided for each distance. There is a staggered start for the two distances.

Registered in-person participants receive a race shirt, a commemorative pint glass, and a poster at packet pick-up. All finishers receive a finisher’s medal that doubles as a bottle opener. In-person race bibs include two drink tickets and a Skyline Cheese Coney voucher redeemable only at the 14K/7K post-race party. The post-race party features beer and snacks and is free and open to the public. A virtual participation option is available for those who cannot attend in person.

Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each distance based on gun time. Age group awards are given by chip time across standard age categories; overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
