Cincinnati Black Men's Wellness Day 5K
Cincinnati Black Men's Wellness Day 5K is scheduled for 07/18/2026 at Central Park, 1201 W Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45240. The event includes two options: a free timed 5K run and a free untimed 5K walk. Registration for these events is free.
The event includes free health screenings for blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, HIV, STD/STI and prostate cancer. The initiative is produced by the African American Male Wellness Agency, which has organized 5K walks and runs in more than 15 cities since 2004 and states a 20 year history of working to reduce preventable disease among Black men.
The walk and run serve as an awareness campaign about health disparities affecting Black men, and the program emphasizes knowing health numbers, increasing physical activity and visiting a doctor regularly. The walk initiative reports annual participation by a large audience of men, women and children, and all participants and screenings are provided at no cost.
