Newmachar 10k

The Newmachar 10k is a popular road race held in Newmachar, Scotland, with the 2025 event scheduled for September 13th. The 10 km course features a mostly tarred road route with two challenging hills—Disblair and Middleton—bookended by short grass sections at the start and finish near Charlie Gordons Park. The route is fully closed to traffic, well marshalled, and supported by enthusiastic local volunteers.

The event promotes sustainability by encouraging runners to bring their own hydration, with limited water stops offering recyclable cups.
