Event Overview
The Breezin' Through Beaumont is a 5k road race on Saturday, May 16, 2026. It is organized by the City of Beaumont.
Race Course
The race starts and finishes at the Beaumont Civic Center at 550 E. Sixth St. The route goes along Palm Avenue to 13th Street, returns southbound to 8th Street, winds around Stewart Park, and finishes back at the Civic Center.
Awards
An awards ceremony is scheduled on the front steps of the Civic Center. The top three male and female finishers in each age division receive medals. Overall male and female winners receive trophies.
Registration and Fees
Registration is open. The fee for preregistration is $30 and guarantees a race shirt if completed by April 30, 2026. Race day registration costs $50. All sales are final with no refunds.
Participant Information
Age divisions range from 7-9 to 80+. Runners are expected to maintain a 15-minute mile pace. Race bib and t-shirt pickup is available on race day at the Beaumont Civic Center starting at 6:30 a.m. Early pickup is also available May 11–14 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Albert A. Chatigny Sr. Community Recreation Center.
Logistics
The event will involve rolling street closures and no-parking zones along 6th Street, Palm Ave, 8th Street, Orange Ave, and Magnolia Ave. A route map is available online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
