About the race
Bree’s Miles of Memories 5K and Fun Run is a Dr. Seuss themed memorial event held on March 6, 2027 at Etowah River Park in Canton, Georgia. The event includes in-person and virtual participation and supports organ donation awareness and community programs run by the organizing nonprofit.
A memorial presentation precedes the runs. The event is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier and features free event photography and costumed appearances. Registered participants age 10 and under receive a free Dr. Seuss book. Race shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by February 12, 2027 and are available afterward while supplies last.
Race timing and awards are specified: professionally timed but not chip timed, with finish cards required. Awards include overall male and female, masters male and female, and top three male and female in age groups 10 and under, 11–14, 15–19, then five-year groups through 70 and above.
Virtual participation allows completion of 3.1 miles anywhere; shirts are included for virtual entrants and shipping within the continental US is available for an additional charge. Registration is handled through RunSignup and online registration closes on March 5, 2027.
