About the race
The Breast Cancer Awareness Fun Run/Walk is a fundraising event for CANSA held on 31 October 2026 at 58 Van Der Merwe St, Rietondale, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. The event aims to raise awareness about breast cancer, promote early detection, and celebrate breast cancer survivors.
Only pre-entries are accepted through the organiser's ticketing page and entries close on 30 October 2026 or earlier if the entry cap is reached. The total entry cap is 280 participants; entry cards can be collected on 31 October 2026 at the event. Two ticket prices are listed for the event.
Participants choose between two course distances:
- 3.5 km
- 7 km
Key arrangements and rules: participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to take part; the time limit for both distances is 120 minutes; marshals and traffic officials must be obeyed; no seconding, bicycles, vehicles, mechanically operated devices, or roller skates are allowed on the routes; no iPods or listening devices are permitted. Water will be supplied at the finish only and there will be no water on route. Entry cards must be clearly visible on the front of clothing. There are no tog bag facilities. Medical assistance will be available. Parking is at own risk. All children must be accompanied by a parent at all times. Participation is at the entrant’s own risk.
