Break of Dawn North Table Trail Run
The Break of Dawn North Table Trail Run is an annual athletic event held in Golden, Colorado. The race is organized by BeyondHome to support families transitioning from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Participants navigate the trails of North Table Mountain, beginning at a local event center on Table Mountain Parkway.
The event offers two distinct distances for participants:
- 10 Mile
- 5 Mile
The 10 Mile route utilizes the North Table Loop, which covers a 7.7-mile section of the mountain's outer rim, along with an additional 2.6 miles of trail. The 5 Mile course, referred to as the Breaking Dawn Fiver, incorporates the Lithic Trail and the Fairmount Canal Loop. This shorter route includes various climbs and switchbacks characteristic of the local terrain.
Packet pickup takes place over two days prior to the event at a running store in Wheat Ridge. While in-person pickup is standard, options for mailed bibs are available for those who make requests by the specified June deadline.
