Brave like Ellie Warrior Walk and Run
The third annual Brave like Ellie Warrior Walk and Run takes place on September 12, 2026 at Getzendaner Park in Waxahachie, Texas. The event is held in observance of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and aims to support families affected by childhood cancer. Proceeds help fund Brave Boxes sent to young people undergoing treatment and promote awareness of childhood cancer.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 1 mile walk
- 5K walk and fun run
- 10K fun run
Registration opens July 21, 2026 and closes August 25, 2026. Registration fees are listed per event: $25 for the 1 mile walk, $35 for the 5K walk and fun run, and $40 for the 10K fun run.
