Event Overview
The Hachie 50 is a multi-distance running event held in Waxahachie, Texas. Organized by the Waxahachie Running Club and the Midlothian Running Club in partnership with the Waxahachie Lions Club, the event supports local children's charities and schools in Ellis County. The races are primarily held within Getzendaner Memorial Park on a course that remains mostly closed to vehicle traffic.
The course is designed as a tree-lined out-and-back route. Underfoot conditions consist of approximately 90% concrete sidewalks and 10% dirt or gravel surfaces. The terrain is flat, and the marathon distance follows a certified course suitable for Boston Marathon qualification.
