Event overview
The Hachie 50 Marathon, Ultra and Relay takes place March 6-7, 2026 at Getzendaner Memorial Park in Waxahachie, Texas. The Waxahachie Running Club and the Midlothian Running Club organize the event with support from the Waxahachie Lions Club. Proceeds benefit the Waxahachie Lions Club and local children's charities in Ellis County.
Races and course
The event includes multiple race options and youth runs:
- 50 Mile Ultra-marathon
- 50 Mile Team Relay
- 26.2 Marathon (Boston qualifier certified)
- 20 Mile Ruck
- Kids 1 mile fun run
- Kids 3k fun run
The course is an out-and-back loop in a city park that is mostly closed to traffic. Surface composition is about 90% concrete sidewalks and 10% dirt or gravel. Longer events use a 10-mile loop multiple times: 50-mile events run the out-and-back five times, the marathon three times on a slightly shortened course, and the 20-mile ruck two times. Awards and services
Individual awards are given to the top six men and top six women in each event; there is no separate masters category. Relay awards are presented for top male, top female, and top coed teams. Participants receive custom t-shirts and medals, free online race photos, and food and drinks during and after the event. Adult race entries are open to ages 14 to 100.
