Hachie 50 Marathon, Ultra and Relay

The Hachie 50 takes place in Getzendaner Memorial Park in Waxahachie, Texas, on March 6, 2027. The event is organized by the Waxahachie Running Club and the Midlothian Running Club with support from the Waxahachie Lions Club. Proceeds benefit the Waxahachie Lions Club and its local charitable activities for children and schools in Ellis County.

The course runs mostly on concrete sidewalks with some dirt and gravel sections; the stated composition is about 90% concrete and 10% dirt or gravel. The park course is mostly closed to traffic and is run as an out and back that is repeated by different events. The 50 mile races and the team relay use an out and back repeated five times on a 10 mile loop. Marathon entrants run an out and back repeated three times on a slightly shortened course.

Participant items and services include custom t shirts, custom medals, free online race photos, and food and drinks during and after the event. Individual awards are given to the top six men and top six women in each event with no separate masters category. Relay awards are given for top male team, top female team, and top coed team.
