Hachie 50 Marathon, Ultra and Relay
The Hachie 50 is a multi-event running weekend in Waxahachie on March 6 and March 7, 2026. The event is presented by local running clubs together with the Waxahachie Lions Club and benefits the Waxahachie Lions Club programs that support children and schools in Ellis County.
The venue is Getzendaner Memorial Park, a city park that is mostly closed to traffic. The course is an out-and-back route that is approximately 90% concrete sidewalks and 10% dirt and gravel, and is described as mostly flat and tree lined.
Participants receive custom t-shirts and unique medals. Free online race photos will be available. Food and drinks are provided during and after the events. Individual awards are given to the top six men and the top six women in each adult event; there is no separate masters category. Relay awards are presented to the top male team, top female team and top coed team.
