Hachie 50 Marathon, Ultra and Relay
The Hachie 50 takes place on March 6, 2027 in Getzendaner Memorial Park, Waxahachie, Texas. The event is organized by the Waxahachie Running Club and the Midlothian Running Club in partnership with the Waxahachie Lions Club. Proceeds benefit the Waxahachie Lions Club and local children and schools in Ellis County.
The course is an out-and-back loop held mostly in a city park that is largely closed to traffic. Surface composition is approximately 90% concrete sidewalks and 10% dirt or gravel. Organizers describe the route as fast, flat and tree-lined. The 50 mile distance and the team relay follow an out-and-back layout repeated five times on a ten mile loop; the full marathon follows an out-and-back pattern repeated three times on a slightly shortened variant of the course.

Participants receive custom t-shirts and unique custom medals, and free online race photos are provided. Food and drinks are available during and after the event. Individual awards are given to the Top 6 men and Top 6 women in each event with no separate masters category. Relay awards are presented to the Top Male team, Top Female team and Top Coed team.
