Race details and logistics
The course is multi-terrain, including sand, track, road and field, with natural features such as dunes, hills, mud, rocks, tree roots and water. The route is traffic free. A 2 hour cut off applies for safety and marshal wellbeing. Timing is by chip with online results. Race packs with numbers and timing chips were to be posted out in late November.
Parking is limited, included in the entry fee where indicated, and organisers request car sharing; a What Three Words code for parking and an approximate 800 m walk to the start are provided. There is an unmanned gazebo for bag drop and no valuables should be left. Nearest public showers are at Bridgend Recreation Centre and may incur a charge.
Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers in the competitive wave, with additional spot and sponsored prizes. Race mementos include a Christmas pudding and an optional technical tee (available with earlier registration). Headphone use is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
