Boxing Day Pudding Run
The Boxing Day Pudding Run takes place on 26 December 2025 at The Links, Whitley Bay, North Tyneside. The event is organised by North Shields Polytechnic Club with Woodlawn School. The finish is next to the helipad, where finishers receive a Christmas or sponge pudding. The event is described as a fun run; Christmas costumes are encouraged. Distance: 5 Kilometres on a road course that runs along the coastline of Whitley Bay and back. Course profile is undulating, one lap, and the route is listed as suitable for wheelchairs. Entry is limited to 1,500 places; the source lists 770 remaining places. Entry fees are Adult £15.00 and Children £10.00. There will be no on-the-day entry; entries close 24/12/2025 at 23:59. Race numbers will be available from Whitley Bay Comrades Club on 16 December 2025 between 17:30 and 20:30.
