Bowstones Fell Race
The Bowstones Fell Race is scheduled for 31 December 2026 and is organised by Bramhall Runners. The course covers approximately 11 km with about 1100 ft of climb. Registration takes place at St. Martin's Church Hall, Higher Poynton, Stockport, Cheshire, SK12 1TE.
Entries cost £12 plus a booking charge and opened from 18 October 2026. There are no entries on the day. The minimum age for participants is 18. Numbers are collected on the day of the event. All finishers receive a bottle of beer.
The event page states that individual refunds are issued only at the race organiser's discretion and that booking fees charged by third parties are not refunded. The organiser reserves the right to amend or cancel aspects of the event and, where possible, to reschedule entries to a new date. Transfers and deferrals are normally permitted up to 48 hours before the event, and a waiting list is used if the event sells out.
Participants agree to the Fell Runners Association disclaimer and to rules relating to safety, equipment and conduct. Results and basic participant details such as name, club, age category, time and finishing position may be published and shared with relevant organisations.
