Bowland Trail Half

Bowland Trail Half 2026 is an unmarked, roughly 13-mile route with about 2,000 feet of ascent, starting and finishing at Slaidburn Village Hall in the Forest of Bowland, near Clitheroe. The course blends fast vehicle tracks, flowing trails, road and boggy sections, with participants navigating via a written route description and map (GPX file provided). Billed as the little sister to the Bowland Ultra, it includes marshals at key points for safety.
