Bowers Heritage Day 5k
The Bowers Heritage Day 5k takes place in Frederica, Delaware, on Clifton Cubbage Drive and benefits the Bowers Beach Maritime Museum. Day-of-race registration is available. Registration prices are stated as inclusive of mandatory charges.
Race options include:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Competitive Walking 5K must walk the entire race; no running or jogging allowed
Timing is handled with chip timing using the MYLAPS BibTag system operated by R2R Timing Timing Systems. Race results are posted online during the event and complete results are published after the race.
Finish-line amenities include unisex tee shirts, post-race refreshments, and music. Awards are presented by gender and age group: overall top male and female and overall masters are scored by gun time; all other age groups are scored by chip (net) time. Additional awards include top male and female masters, top three male and female in 10-year age groups from 13 & under through 70 & over, and top three male and female walkers.
