Bowers Heritage Day 5k
The Bowers Heritage Day 5k is a community 5K event held on Clifton Cubbage Drive in Frederica, Delaware. The event supports the Bowers Beach Maritime Museum and offers both a general 5K run/walk and a competitive walking category.
Registration is available in advance and on race day. Registration payments are nonrefundable and bibs are non-transferable. No dogs are allowed on course due to insurance liability.

Race services include unisex tee shirts, post-race refreshments, and music. Timing is provided by R2R Timing Timing Systems using the MYLAPS BibTag chip system. Results are posted online during and after the event.
Awards are given by gun time for overall and overall masters top finishers; all other age groups are scored by chip net time. Specific awards include top male and female, top male and female masters, top three male and female in ten-year age groups from 13 and under through 70 and over, and top three male and female walkers.
