Bourque 7.7K at Tuscan Village
The Bourque 7.7K at Tuscan Village is a road race held in Salem, New Hampshire. This 9th annual event features a unique main distance that honors professional hockey history, specifically commemorating Boston Bruins player Ray Bourque. The race takes place at Lake Park within the Tuscan Village development, with the course starting and ending in this area.
Participants can choose from three different distance options:
- 7.7 km road race
- 5 km run or walk
- 1/4-Mile Mites Fun Run for children aged 0-12
Registered participants in the 7.7 km and 5 km events receive a timing bib, a commemorative finishers medal, and an event t-shirt. For those who register by April 28, there is a choice between a long-sleeve or short-sleeve shirt. Runners aged 21 and older also receive a drink ticket for the post-race beer garden. Children participating in the Mites Fun Run receive a specific finishers medal and a race bib.
The event serves as a fundraiser for the Bourque Family Foundation and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem. After the conclusion of the races, a post-race gathering is held at Lake Park featuring music, live entertainment, and food. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
