Event details
Bournemouth International Triathlon is organised by Challenging Events Ltd and takes place on Sunday 13 September 2026 at West Cliff Gardens, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH2 5HP. The event uses the west side of Bournemouth Pier. Swim starts are from the blue flag beach just under the zig zag of West Cliff Gardens. The bike route heads out of Bournemouth toward the market town of Ringwood on the edge of The New Forest. The run follows the promenade and finishes back on the sand. Volunteer roles include car parking, registration support, course marshalling and water stops; volunteers receive a high visibility vest and a free entry code.

- Sprint: 750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run
- Standard: 1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run
- Aquathlon Sprint: 750m swim, 5km run
- Aquabike Standard: 1500m swim, 40km bike
- Relay Standard: 1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run
Age eligibility is specified as on 31/12/2026: sprint and aquathlon open to entrants aged 15 and over, standard and aquabike open to entrants aged 17 and over, relay standard open to entrants aged 19 and over.
