Bourbon & Beyond 5K
The Bourbon & Beyond 5K is a running and walking event held at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville. The course takes participants through the grounds of the Kentucky Exposition Center and Kentucky Kingdom.
The event features several musical elements, including a designated event playlist along the route and live music at the finish line by the band Bourbon Revival. Before the start, the venue provides light snacks, refreshments, and music for participants.
Registration includes the following distances:
- 5 km
The race uses professional chip timing to record participant results. Those completing the course receive a custom finisher medal and a commemorative short-sleeve race shirt.
Packet pickup is available on the Thursday and Friday prior to the event at Planet Fitness on Poplar Level Rd. There is also an option for race morning pickup located at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Parking Lot E2 near the start line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
