The 5K is open to ages 7 and up. The Kids 800M is open to ages 1 to 12. Entry pricing listed for 2025 includes a registration fee for the 5K and a lower fee for youth and older adult categories. A free long sleeve shirt is available for registrants who register before October 16, 2025. Baby strollers are allowed; dogs are not permitted. Alpine Bank is the naming rights sponsor.
Charity and fundraising
The event is a fundraiser for Harvest of Hope Pantry, the food pantry in Boulder that serves anyone who comes to its door. Harvest of Hope Pantry reports distributing an average of 3,500 pounds of food each day and serving about 750 shoppers per week. The pantry receives food from drives, farm donations, and recovered unsold food from retail partners.
