Event overview
The Turkey Trek is scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Long Lake Regional Park in Arvada, Colorado. The event offers multiple distances: a half marathon (13.1), a 10k, a 5k and a 2k untimed fun run. It is listed as an official qualifier for BolderBoulder. A course map is available via MapMyRun.

Course and challenges
The 10k loop includes a steady uphill climb to a summit at about the 3 mile mark, a roughly one-mile ridge section, then a gradual, winding descent down the east side of the mesa. After the descent there is a relatively flat straight-away with hay bales placed for a hay bale hop. One kilometer from the finish there is a food challenge offering a portion of pumpkin pie. The 5k and 2k routes use a smaller portion of the full course and its challenges.
The event includes an optional Egg Nog Chug (5 oz) for 10k and half participants; those who chug are entered to win a pair of shoes.
Entry, swag and charity
Listed entry fees are $64 for the half, $42 for the 10k, $32 for the 5k, and $26 for the 2k. The event notes participants receive a heavy weight brown hooded sweatshirt (performance blend, unisex sizing). Half marathon finishers receive a finisher mug.
