About the race
BougeBouge Cap-Saint-Jacques is a trail running event held at Grand parc de l’Ouest - Secteur Cap Saint-Jacques in Montreal. The event offers multiple certified trail distances and on-course services suited to a nature-park setting.
Distances:
- 1 km
- 2 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21.1 km
All distances are certified as trail runs with timing provided by Sportstats. Results are published and classified by age categories. One or more aid stations are available on the course; only a single refill water station is provided and no cups will be distributed, so participants are asked to use their own bottle. Gels are available; any paper waste thrown on the ground may lead to disqualification.
Registration details include a price range from $25.00 to $68.00, platform fees (minimum $2.95 + 3% and applicable taxes), and a policy of price increases during the 90 days before the event. Group discounts apply: 10% for 5 to 9 tickets, 15% for 10 or more. Online registration closes the Thursday before the event. Personalized medals must be ordered during online registration and are handed out at bib pick-up; all finishers receive a standard BougeBouge medal.
Parking is available at Collège Charlemagne; park parking fees apply for those who park inside the nature park. The event includes cut-offs and recommended split times to ensure safety and race management. Organizers emphasize eco-responsibility and ask participants to keep waste with them until disposal points. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
