Boston Half
The Boston Half presented by Dana‑Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund is scheduled for November 8, 2026 in Boston. The event reached general registration capacity; additional spots are available through Team Dana‑Farber. The field is expected to include about 9,000 participants. The entry fee is $110 and entrants must be at least 14 years old on race day. Entries are non‑transferrable, non‑deferrable, and non‑refundable. All athletes receive an adidas participant shirt and a unicorn finisher medal.
The route begins and ends in Franklin Park and runs along the Emerald Necklace Park System, including the Riverway, Jamaicaway, and Arborway, passing Arnold Arboretum, Jamaica Pond, Willow Pond, and Olmsted Park. The organizers provide hydration on course, including Poland Spring natural spring water, Lemon Lime Gatorade Endurance Formula, and Maurten.
Logistics include no parking at Franklin Park and transportation options from Copley Square and Forest Hills MBTA station, with drop‑off on Seaver Street and a rideshare drop‑off at 168 Seaver Street. Bib numbers for U.S. residents are mailed before the event; international participants may claim bibs at Athlete Services on race day. Gear check requires the provided plastic bag and the gear check tag affixed to the bib. A lactation tent with enclosed, partitioned spaces and basic amenities will be available in the Start/Finish area. Medical personnel will be on site.
