About the race
Boos & Brews 5K (Syracuse) is a Halloween-themed 5K held in Baldwinsville, New York. The flat course blends roads, a paved trail, and wooded paths along the Seneca River, looping to Lions Community Park and back. The event offers two heats, each capped at 250 runners, plus a virtual option.
Costumes are encouraged, with a contest for best, most unique, and scariest outfits. After crossing the finish, runners celebrate at WT Brews with beer specials and Halloween cookies, plus ghoulash. Finisher medals, a custom long-sleeve shirt, a special bib, and a death certificate round out the package, with proceeds to Baldwinsville Meals On Wheels.
