5K Color Run and Lil' Monster Dash - Run for the Residents
Thurston Woods Village hosts a fall community running event at 307 N Franks Ave, Sturgis, MI. The program includes a color 5K and a one mile kids fun run with family-oriented activities and snacks. Participants receive a white long sleeve shirt and a bib, and color stations apply five fall-colored powders along the 5K route.
The kids event features a low-pressure one mile course with a mini scavenger hunt, bubbles, and activities designed for young children. Scooters, strollers, tricycles, bikes with training wheels, and wheelchairs are welcomed on course. Costumes are encouraged for participants.
Post-event amenities and activities include fresh popped popcorn, donuts, warm cider, pumpkins and fall decor for photos, and games such as corn hole, pumpkin tic tac toe, and pumpkin painting. Medals and finish line festivities are part of the event experience.
All proceeds support the Benevolent Fund for the residents of Thurston Woods Village. Registration covers the participant shirt, bib, and post-run snacks and activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
