This is the 4th Bonnet Springs Park 5k. The event is held at Bonnet Springs Park, a 168-acre nonprofit park with a mix of natural and urban amenities.

The 5k is a sunrise run that takes place on a USATF-certified course. Walkers are welcome. There is a separate Kids Fun Run that follows the 5k event.
Event Location
The event takes place at the Family Lawn of Bonnet Springs Park, located at 600 Bonnet Springs Blvd in Lakeland, Florida. Participants are encouraged to explore the park after the race.
Event Organizers
The race is a partnership between two nonprofit organizations. Bonnet Springs Park is organized as a 501(c)(3) with a mission of community enrichment. The Lakeland Runners Club, Inc., also a 501(c)(3), co-organizes with a mission to promote running and fitness.
Additional Information
A portion of the proceeds from the 5k will benefit the Carol Jenkins Barnett Endowment at Bonnet Springs Park. Race bibs, shirts, medals, and awards are not mailed and must be picked up in person. The 5k is chip-timed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
