2026 Bolt Run
The 26th Annual Bolt Run is presented by AdventHealth and organized by the Lightning Foundation. The event takes place on November 7, 2026 at Benchmark International Arena, Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL, and offers both in-person and virtual race options. Proceeds will benefit Special Olympics of Florida. Packet pickup information will be announced closer to race day.
With in-person and virtual options, distances include:
- 5 Mile in-person and virtual
- 5K in-person and virtual
- 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk in-person and virtual
Each registered participant receives a 2026 Bolt Run finisher's medal, a race t-shirt, and a race bib; virtual runners will have their bib mailed. Some registration options include one ticket to a select Lightning home game. Virtual entries include tracking through the ASICS Runkeeper App and a downloadable custom finisher’s certificate, with times accepted from November 7 through November 14. The event displays all-in registration pricing that includes applicable RaceRoster processing fees; organizers note they did not raise the base registration price despite higher costs for shirts and medals.
The Team Tampa Bay 5K Champions Club recognizes participants who complete the Bolt Run, She is Football 5K, and Running with the Rays 5K within the Fall 2026 to Spring 2027 season and awards a special medal and recognition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
