2026 Bolt Run
The 2026 Bolt Run is the 26th annual edition of this in-person and virtual event held in Tampa, Florida on November 7, 2026. The event is presented by AdventHealth and organized with support from the Lightning Foundation. Activities are based at Benchmark International Arena on Channelside Drive in Tampa.
Distances offered include:
- 5 Mile
- 5K
- 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk
Registered participants receive a 2026 Bolt Run finisher's medal, a race t-shirt, and a race bib; virtual runners will have their bib mailed. Virtual entries use the ASICS Runkeeper App for tracking and include a downloadable custom branded finisher’s certificate. Virtual times can be submitted from November 7 through November 14, 2026. Packet pickup information will be announced closer to race day.
The event offers registration options with or without a Lightning home game ticket. Pricing is shown as all-in amounts that include required processing fees. Proceeds from the Bolt Run benefit Special Olympics of Florida.
The event also participates in the Team Tampa Bay 5K Champions Club challenge. Runners who complete the three affiliated 5Ks in the season—Bolt Run, She is Football 5K, and Running with the Rays 5K—earn a Team Tampa Bay Champions Club medal and recognition.
