Route and distances
The course follows undulating forest trails within Alice Holt Forest. The basic loop is a 5k forest trail; longer races use multiple laps of this loop or an extended version.
- Half Marathon: four laps of an extended 5k
- 10k: two laps of the 5k loop
- 5k: one lap of the 5k loop
- Junior Run: short forest run for younger participants

Charity and fundraising
The event raises funds for GUTS (Guildford Undetected Tumour Screening). Since the inaugural race, the event has raised nearly £100,000 for the charity. GUTS focuses on improving bowel cancer survival through early detection and treatment, funding equipment, raising awareness, providing facilities to improve care, and supporting research.
