Boise Front Trail Festival
The Boise Front Trail Festival is a two-day trail running event at Bogus Basin near Boise, ID on July 31 - August 1, 2026. The festival includes an uphill Hill Climb on Friday and trail races on Saturday. Race proceeds are donated to Ridge to Rivers to support local trail stewardship.

Awards are offered for overall and age group finishers in the 5 mile and 10 mile races, and overall prizes for the Hill Climb. The 10 mile overall cash prizes are 1st $150, 2nd $100, and 3rd $50. Age group categories for awards include 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus.
Logistics notes include packet pickup at local Fleet Feet stores before race weekend and limited race day pickup at the start/finish area. Parking is available at JR Simplot Lodge, 1731 N Bogus Basin Rd, Horseshoe Bend, ID 83629. Bathrooms are provided at the start/finish area via the Frontier Point Lodge and portable restrooms.
The festival participates in a Youth Trail Initiative offering a 15% discount for eligible youth athletes and lists volunteer opportunities to support event operations.
