The Boilermaker Road Race takes place on July 12, 2026 in Utica, New York, at the corner of Culver Avenue and Dwyer Avenue near Human Technologies (formerly ECR International). The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes a wheelchair division.

Registration is managed with tiered pricing and limited capacities. The 15K field is capped at 11,000 participants and the 5K field is capped at 4,500 participants. Some limited dropdowns from the 15K to the 5K are available on a first come, first served basis.
Events are held rain or shine. Walkers, animals, skateboards, in-line skates, roller skates, bicycles, and baby joggers or strollers are prohibited. There are no deferrals and no refunds. The course is restricted to registered athletes and official race personnel.
The organizer will follow local and federal public health guidelines in place on race day. Participants agree to abide by any health and safety measures in effect at that time.
