Little Falls Turkey Trot 5k
The Little Falls Turkey Trot is a community road race held at the Little Falls Youth and Family Center, 15 Jackson Street, Little Falls, New York. The event features a 5k course that runs by Moreland Park and through the town's downtown area. The course is described as challenging and passes through local park and streets.
The race is organized by Rock City Runners together with the Youth and Family Center. Registration is limited to 160 participants and the event commonly sells out; a waitlist will be used if entries reach capacity. There is no day of registration. Registration fees noted for the event include a standard adult fee of $28 and a reduced fee of $5 for children under 16.
All entrants receive guaranteed swag and every runner will receive a finisher's medal. Awards are presented for top male, top female, top male youth, and top female youth. Packets can be picked up in the gym of the Little Falls Youth and Family Center with pickup available the day before the race and on the morning of the race. All profits from the race are donated to the Little Falls Food Pantry, and registrants are offered an option to make an additional donation during online registration.
